Meet the Attorney
Kathleen’s professional career has been all about serving special needs and vulnerable members of the population. She served as general counsel for the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services, providing legal advice and representation to the Bureau regarding such issues as Medicaid long term care services, guardianships and advanced directives. While still a student at Suffolk University of Law School, she represented children in Boston Juvenile Court as a student attorney for the Juvenile Defenders Clinic.
She was licensed as an attorney in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts (she is currently on inactive status in Massachusetts). Kathleen is a mother to two young boys and an active member of her community of Portsmouth, NH. When not practicing law, she is a Tinkergarten leader providing outdoor play-based classes for children and their families. Kathleen also enjoys skiing, live music and the occasional quiet moment with a good book.
